Among the tested compounds, ergosta-4,6,8(14),22-tetraen-3-one (3) exhibited the most significant inhibition towards superoxide anion generation and elastase release with IC(50) values of 2.30 ± 0.38 and 1.94 ± 0.50 µg/mL, respectively. |
