Cholesteryl-Modification of a Glucomannan from Bletilla striata and Its Hydrogel Properties

A glucomannan-type polysaccharide, named BSP, was obtained from the tubers of Bletilla striata by ultrasonic-assisted extraction, ethanol precipitation, deproteination and gel-permeation chromatography.
