A new genus and species of Brontinae from Borneo (Coleoptera, Silvanidae)

Abstract. A new silvanid genus Borneophanusgen. n. is described based on specimens collected from Malaysian Borneo. A new species, B.spinosussp. n., is described herein. Digitiform sensilla on the apical maxillary palpomere is reported in Silvanidae for the first time.
