Sumario:We present a case of endobronchial fusariosis following bilateral sequential lung transplantation for idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension in a 13 years old boy who was treated successfully with posaconazole and nebulized amphotericin B. We discuss the role of nebulized amphotericin B in treating invasive pulmonary fungal disease in children. To our knowledge, this is the first pediatric case of endobronchial fusariosis reported in the literature.
