Sumario:Cholangiocarcinoma is a malignant neoplasm originating from biliary epithelial cells. The incidence and mortality of this cancer are rising in the world. Currently, cholangiocarcinoma is accepted as a stem cell disease with many risk factors. Diagnosis is relatively simple but therapy is extremely difficult. Surgery is the mainstay of treatment for early stage patients. Endobiliary approaches, chemotherapy and radiotherapy are other therapeutic approaches.
