Search of the neutrino-less double beta decay of [Formula: see text] Se into the excited states of [Formula: see text] Kr with CUPID-0
The CUPID-0 experiment searches for double beta decay using cryogenic calorimeters with double (heat and light) read-out. The detector, consisting of 24 ZnSe crystals 95[Formula: see text] enriched in [Formula: see text] Se and two natural ZnSe crystals, started data-taking in 2017 at Laboratori Naz...

Sumario: | The CUPID-0 experiment searches for double beta decay using cryogenic calorimeters with double (heat and light) read-out. The detector, consisting of 24 ZnSe crystals 95[Formula: see text] enriched in [Formula: see text] Se and two natural ZnSe crystals, started data-taking in 2017 at Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso. We present the search for the neutrino-less double beta decay of [Formula: see text] Se into the 0[Formula: see text] , 2[Formula: see text] and 2[Formula: see text] excited states of [Formula: see text] Kr with an exposure of 5.74 kg[Formula: see text] yr (2.24[Formula: see text] 10[Formula: see text] emitters[Formula: see text] yr). We found no evidence of the decays and set the most stringent limits on the widths of these processes: [Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text] Se [Formula: see text] Kr[Formula: see text] )8.55[Formula: see text] 10[Formula: see text] yr[Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text] Se [Formula: see text] Kr [Formula: see text] )[Formula: see text] yr[Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text] Se [Formula: see text] Kr[Formula: see text] )8.25[Formula: see text] 10[Formula: see text] yr[Formula: see text] (90[Formula: see text] credible interval). |
