Sumario:Isolated dissection of the celiac artery (IDCA) is a rare phenomenon with unclear pathogenesis. Although several risk factors have been attributed, it is essential for clinicians to maintain this diagnosis in the list of differentials to ensure prompt implementation of diagnostic and treatment modalities. We present the case of a 37-year-old smoking male who presented with upper abdominal pain radiating to the left upper quadrant with associated nausea/vomiting, diaphoresis, and diarrhea.
