Sumario:First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Biology Open, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Kingsley Ugwuagbo and Sujit Maiti are co-first authors on ‘Prostaglandin E2 promotes embryonic vascular development and maturation in zebrafish’, published in BiO. Kingsley is an MSc student in the lab of Dr Mousumi Majumder at Brandon University, Canada, investigating early detection strategies in breast cancer. Sujit is a research assistant in the lab of Dr Mousumi Majumder at Brandon University, investigating the simplest approach to discovering early detection of breast cancer.
