Sumario: | For the treatment of patients with critical limb ischemia (CLI), the angiosome concept is essential in revascularization and wound treatment. In this article, we describe how we use the angiosome concept for surgically treating CLI wounds and review some essential reports. For wounds in patients with CLI to heal, both successful revascularization and wound management are crucial. In order to preserve the blood supply as much as possible intraoperatively, surgeons should always consider the angiosome concept. |
