Solid Electrolyte Batteries: Development of an All Solid State Battery Incorporating Graphene Oxide as Proton Conductor (Global Challenges 6/2017)

The cover picture shows the solid state battery where graphene oxide (GO) is used as proton conducting solid electrolyte. Respective discharge capacity and power density of the cell is found to be 360 μA h and 19.5 mW kg(−1) at a constant current drain of 3 μA under experimental condition. GO based...

Sumario:The cover picture shows the solid state battery where graphene oxide (GO) is used as proton conducting solid electrolyte. Respective discharge capacity and power density of the cell is found to be 360 μA h and 19.5 mW kg(−1) at a constant current drain of 3 μA under experimental condition. GO based proton conductors as solid electrolyte are cleaner, cheaper and fascicle alternative for applications with low energy feedback.
