Sumario:Hemangioma is a common tumor, normally diagnosed in children, and accounting for almost 10% of benign neoplasms. A hemangioma arising from the wall of a vessel is rare, and must be differentiated from other vascular malformations of the same origin. We report a rare case of a hemangioma arising from the wall of an external jugular vein and discuss diagnostic work-up and management.
