Sumario:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(12)H(22)N(+)·CH(3)O(3)S(−), consists of three (3,5-di­methyl­adamantan-1-yl)ammonium cations, C(12)H(22)N(+), and three methane­sulfonate anions, CH(3)O(3)S(−). In the crystal, the cations and anions associate via N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds into layers, parallel to the (001) plane, which include large supra­molecular hydrogen-bonded rings.
