Sumario:We report on the treatment of a Basal Cell Carcinoma of the skin with high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy using a 3D-printed surface mold. The lesion was treated with 40 Gy in 10 fractions, administered every second day. The treatment was well tolerated and there were no significant toxicities. The patient had a complete response to radiation therapy. So it can concluded that 3D printed surface molds can be effectively used in the context of HDR skin brachytherapy.
