Whole-Genome Sequence of the Ammonia-Oxidizing Bacterium Nitrosomonas stercoris Type Strain KYUHI-S, Isolated from Composted Cattle Manure

This work reports the complete genome sequence of a chemoautotrophic ammonia-oxidizing bacterium, Nitrosomonas stercoris strain KYUHI-S(T) (= ATCC BAA-2718(T) and NBRC 110753(T)). The assembled genome is composed of a circular chromosome and a large plasmid.
