Sumario:Recent widespread use of high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) for the screening of lung cancer have led to an increase in the detection rate of very faint and smaller lesions known as ground-glass nodule (GGN). However, it had been proved that GGN was well associated with lung cancer in previous studies. Terefore, the classifcation, imaging characteristics, pathological type, follow-up, suggested managements and other clinical concerns of GGN were reviewed in this paper.
