Clinical Evaluation of Rodents

Small rodents are gaining popularity as pets and more owners are seeking veterinary care for these animals. Although there is a wealth of information available on this species, it is often disseminated among a large variety of texts and journals, thereby making access difficult for the veterinary practitioner. This article is designed to provide introductory information for the clinician performing a basic physical examination. Differential diagnoses for common clinical signs are discussed.
