Sumario:From the great number of pathogenic and conventionally pathogenic for human beings microorganisms, only some of them can be used for terroristic purposes, since they should meet a lot of the relevant properties. Today priority is given to those biological agents, which have undergone successful tests, and are characterized by high index of morbidity, pathogenicity, low lethal doses, high contagiousness with short incubation period, and which result in high social and economic costs.
