Gastrointestinal Diseases of Foals

Few foals escape gastrointestinal disease during the first few weeks of life. Nutritional and infectious causes of foal diarrhea are considered from both diagnostic and therapeutic viewpoints. The diagnosis and therapy of gastric and duodenal ulcer disease in foals are also discussed.
