Sumario:We present a case report of an unfortunate 67-year-old man. He developed symptoms of thromboembolic disease in the immediate post-operative period after nephroureterectomy with recurrent pulmonary embolism in spite of being on several different anticoagulation regimens. He was later found to have tumor thrombus in the pulmonary artery secondary to urothelial tumor extension.
