description In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the workplace in Sub-Saharan Africa should build on the missions of occupational health in the formal sector and on the promotion of well-being and occupational health in the informal sector. Technical prevention measures adopted at the collective level (awareness-raising, training and hygiene) and at the individual level (personal protective equipment and vaccination) as well as disease prevention measures (screening and surveillance) are in line with the recommendations advocated by the authorities.
