Sumario:The SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus is a human-to-human viral zoonosis responsible for a global health crisis. Patients hospitalized with SARS-CoV-2 pneumonia are at risk of developing: neuromyopathy, sarcopenia, stress deconditioning, comorbidities imbalance, loss of autonomy in activities of daily living, reduced quality of life. In France, the physiotherapist plays a major public health role in the treatment of these patients in hospitals, rehabilitation centres and nursing homes. The main objective of this article is to make a pragmatic scientific description of the diagnostic and therapeutic attitude adopted in daily practice by the physiotherapist in the care of affected patient. Bio-psycho-social consequences of this pandemic are likely to be significant. Rehabilitation is decisive for the functional prognosis of affected patients. In the long term, its major objective will be multifunctional restoration.
