Ectopic hepatocellular carcinoma mimicking a retroperitoneal tumor: A case report

BACKGROUND: An ectopic hepatocellular carcinoma (EHCC) arises from the ectopic liver which is defined as a hepatic organ or tissue not connected to surrounding tissues.
