Does COVID-19 cause axonal GBS?
• Reports of GBS associated with COVID-19 have described axonal and demyelinating subtypes. • I highlight electrodiagnostic features that suggest COVID-19 may predominantly cause axonal GBS. • The sural-sparing pattern is seen in axonal, and not just a phenomenon of demyelinating, GBS.
