Sumario:As the placement of transvenous leads across a prosthetic tricuspid valve is preferentially avoided, one must consider alternative solutions to provide necessary pacing and/or defibrillator therapy. Here, we present a case of novel placement of an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) lead in the right atrium, in order to provide safe ICD therapy in a patient with a prosthetic tricuspid valve.
