Ceftazidime-avibactam (CAZ-AVI) is novel cephalosporin/β-lactamase inhibitor (BL-BLI) combination with broad antibacterial spectrum. The aim of this review is to describe the current and future role CAZ-AVI in the pediatric population with suspected or confirmed MDR-GN infections.
