Besides the basic applications, LEDs have made strong strides in several new fields of applications and emerged as leaders in the technological growth. The LED industry has experienced tremendous change since its inception in the commercial market. In over a decade, the LED efficiencies have improved and their cost has lowered down. This has created numerous growth opportunities to implement LEDs for multiple businesses and newer products.
