Sumario:High-dose tigecycline therapy is gaining wide acceptance in treating infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria. There are no reports of cutaneous hyperpigmentation with the use of high-dose tigecycline. Here we report a case of a woman who developed reversible cutaneous hyperpigmentation within 48 h of receiving high-dose tigecycline.
