COVID-19 patients with diabetes have a significantly higher risk of disease severity (OR = 2.20, 95% CI = 1.69–2.86, p < 0.00001) and associated mortality outcomes (OR = 2.52, 95% CI = 1.93–3.30, p = < 0.00001). |
