Sumario:French Guiana is a vast French department located on the South American continent. Its biodiversity is the source of geographical disparities and difficulties in accessing healthcare. The Covid-19 epidemic, which was spreading in Latin America, finally reached the border areas last May and then gradually spread throughout the whole territory. The organization of the various structures helped to contain the spread of the virus and limit its impact.
