description Epidermal cysts are common skin lesions. They are usually seen in the chronic sun-exposed areas of the skin. They can get complicated by inflammation, infection, rupture, or malignancy. Epidermal cyst in the perineal region is rare. We report a case of an infected ruptured perineal epidermal cyst mimicking gluteal abscess.
