description We present a case of Takotsubo (stress-induced) cardiomyopathy (TCM) in a healthcare worker that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. LEARNING POINTS: The various symptoms indicating Takotsubo cardiomyopathy are characterized and defined. Physicians should be aware that stress in healthcare workers may cause heart disease.
