description We report an 87-year-old woman with right dorsolateral medullary hemorrhage. She did not show all of the usual symptoms of Wallenberg syndrome and her main symptom was severe dysphagia. Dorsolateral medullary hemorrhage may be overlooked, because it is rare and does not exhibit the typical Wallenberg syndrome presentation usually seen in patients with infarction at the dorsolateral medulla.
