Sumario: | Primitive neuroectodermal tumors (PNETs) arising from the lung without thoracic wall involvement are extremely rare and particularly aggressive neoplasms. Herein, we present the case of a 41-year-old woman with pulmonary PNET diagnosed following histopathological, immunohistochemical, and molecular pathological examination of a surgical biopsy specimen. The case report is accompanied by a literature review of primary pulmonary PNETs. |
