Sumario:Infants born by cesarean section have an intestinal microbiota that differs from that of infants delivered vaginally. Here, we report a protocol for performing oral transplantation of maternal fecal microbiota to newborn infants born by elective cesarean section. The crucial step of this protocol is the health screening process. This protocol can only be applied to healthy mothers and infants. For complete details on the use and execution of this protocol, please refer to Korpela et al. (2020).
