Sumario:Invasive fungal infections are a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients systemic lupus erythematosus. The case illustrates the autopsy findings in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus complicated by multiple fungal infections. Rare, uncommon manifestations of SLE such as mesenteric panniculitis and rhabdomyolysis were also present. High index of suspicion with timely intervention with aggressive antifungal was life-saving.
