Sumario:We report an unusual case of acute myocardial infarction in a high school girl. The patient was 17 years of age and had multiple coronary risk factors, including marked obesity with a body mass index (BMI) of 42.7 kg/m(2), dyslipidemia and glucose intolerance. She had been an on and off smoker since she was 13 years of age.
