Sumario: | Prior to the antibiotics era, the mortality rate from cavernous sinus thrombosis (CST) was very high reaching 100%. There have been very few reports of CST associated with tooth extraction on the same time Coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID-19) is known to increase the risk of developing venous thromboembolism; therefore, patients with COVID-19 may present with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. We present a case with diagnostic dilemma and first to be reported in the literature. |
