Sumario:Anastacia Awad is the Head of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) globally for the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, which is the research engine of Novartis. She completed her PhD in genetics and molecular biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by a postdoc with Alan Hall at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I chatted with Anastacia about her career in science and her journey from the bench to industry.
