He was diagnosed with coinfection of severe COVID-19 pneumonia and pneumococcal infection. He recovered from both infections and was discharged home. This report presents the features of this case and reviews the literature of similar cases of coinfection of COVID-19 pneumonia and pneumococcal infection. |
