Complete mitochondrial genome of Mekong fighting fish, Betta smaragdina (Teleostei: Osphronemidae)

Mekong fighting fish (Betta smaragdina) are found in Northeast Thailand. A complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of B. smaragdina was assembled and annotated.
