Sumario: | One year after the COVID-19 pandemic was declared around the world, this comment aims to reflect on the current state of vulnerability in which displaced people and people affected by disasters can still find themselves around the world. There is still no accurate data available to assess the magnitude of the phenomena, so these people are still invisible. This contribution aims to dialogue with the previous contributions in the field, as well as to provide up-to-date estimates of people affected by disasters worldwide in 2020, with the purpose of demonstrate the vulnerability of these people during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic. |
