Summary: Original articles in the Table of Contents of the JIPS from 2005 to 2020 were screened. A total of 611 articles were published. Irrelevant (05) and non-Indian articles (82) were excluded. Title, abstracts and full texts (where required) of 524 included articles were screened. 142 observational studies (comparative clinical- 21;cross-sectional-112; cohort and follow-up-6; case-control-1; pre-post-2), 73 interventional studies (RCT's-11; controlled clinical trials and comparative-40; cross-over clinical trials-4; single arm trials-9; pre-post-9), 271 in-vitro studies, 5 animal studies and 28 technique reports were identified. 5 abstracts were unclear
