Sumario: | Consistent with global trends of infections due to multiple-drug resistant Gram-negative bacteria, we report the first official case of native mitral valve endocarditis due to multi-resistant Klebsiella Pneumonia Carbapenemase (KPC) producing Serratia marcescens.
