Partial and Аpparent Мolar Volume of Аzithromycin in Its Solutions in Еthanol, 1-Рropanol, and 1-Butanol at 300.15, 305.15, 310.15 K and Ambient Pressure

The densities and ultrasound velocities in azithromycin solutions in ethanol, 1-propanol and 1-butanol at various concentrations and at three different temperatures (T = 300.15, 305.15, and 310.15 K) have been measured. Based on the data obtained, various derived acoustical parameters viz, acoustic...

description The densities and ultrasound velocities in azithromycin solutions in ethanol, 1-propanol and 1-butanol at various concentrations and at three different temperatures (T = 300.15, 305.15, and 310.15 K) have been measured. Based on the data obtained, various derived acoustical parameters viz, acoustic impedance (Z), adiabatic compressibility (β), intermolecular free length (L(f)), free volume (V(f)), Rao’s constant (R), Wada’s constant (W), partial molar volume (V(Ф)), and hence apparent molar volume ([Formula: see text]) of the solute have been calculated. The results are discussed on the basis of the nature of solute-solvent interactions.
