Sumario:This article of the Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie (ZPS) is about Sociodrama online in the Covid Era 2020/2021. In 2020/2021, there have been a wide range of experiential sociodrama events offered online, often varying widely in form and purpose between practitioners from the different ‘schools’ of thought about what is sociodrama and how to do it. This account is avowedly subjective, written from the perspective of Diane Adderley, UK-based Senior Sociodrama Trainer, during the period to date of the Covid-19 pandemic. It details the development of iSCAN, an initially mainly UK-based network of sociodramatists, which now includes in its core group practitioners from Germany, USA, Australia (via Beijing) and Romania. Other international initiatives are also briefly introduced. The role of sociodrama in today’s changing world together with the opportunities and pitfalls of the Zoom experience are explored, together with some brief reference to the demarcation between psychodrama and sociodrama and the definitions of the form found to be most useful to the writer.
