description | Over recent years, social media use has substantially expanded not only for millennials, but across all generations. Today, it no longer remains a means for simple social networking. It has evolved into a powerful tool that can be used for career development, continued professional development and global scientific engagement. Medical professionals, have employed social media platforms to search for job opportunities, advertise meetings, participate in case discussions and network with the medical community at large.
