Sumario: | In this report, we present a rare case of sarcoidosis presenting as fever of unknown origin with unilateral hilar lymphadenopathy, in contrast with the typical presentation of sarcoidosis. Sarcoidosis presenting with asymmetric or isolated unilateral lymphadenopathy is highly unusual. Sarcoidosis is also an uncommon cause of fever of unknown origin. This atypical presentation led to diagnostic delays in our case. This case report emphasizes the importance of considering sarcoidosis early in the differential diagnosis of fever of unknown origin with unilateral hilar lymphadenopathy. |
