The results were then compared with an age and sex matched control group. RESULTS: No statistically significant difference in the frequency of COVID-19 cases between the two groups was found. CONCLUSION: It appears that the use of musculoskeletal corticosteroid injections during the COVID-19 pandemic does not confer increased risk of contracting the virus.
