Sumario:BACKGROUND: To investigate the efficacy and safety of MEBO combined with Jinhuang powder for the treatment of diabetic foot with infection. METHODS: From August 2015 to August 2019, patients with diabetic foot in our hospital were divided into the treatment group and control group. The treatment group was treated with moist exposed burn ointment (MEBO) combined with Jinhuang powder, while the control group was treated with MEBO only. RESULTS: After one week of treatment, the effective rate in the treatment group was 100%, and the effective rate in the control group was only 76%. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The wound pain score was 2.40 ± 1.38 in the treatment group and 3.76 ± 1.85 in the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). After one month of treatment, the effective rate of wound healing was 92.0% in the treatment group and 68% in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: MEBO combined with Jinhuang powder is effective in treating diabetic foot with infection wound.
