Sumario: | Severely calcified coronary lesions remain a challenge in current percutaneous coronary interventions. Shockwave intravascular lithotripsy (Shockwave Medical, Inc., Santa Clara, California) is an alternative for rotational atherectomy in such lesions that supports stent deliverability and achieves optimal results.
